Volunteers of VHV impersonated Santa Clauses to organize Christmas parties for students of free English classes in both Hanoi and Hochiminh city.
Christmas of the children and VHV was filled with songs, laughter and applause when they saw funny Santa Clauses in real life and enjoyed happy moments. Beside the VHV members, international volunteers also came to light up the party.
In Hanoi, the children had a really warm and cosy party with many music performances and excited games. The children also wished VHV members a merry Christmas. One of the volunteers said :”Joining the Christmas party, it gives me the opportunity to get closer to children, and that is an unforgettable experience to me”.

In Ho Chi Minh city, the volunteers were getting together to prepare an impressive Christmas party for children. The children expressed their surprise and shouted with excitement when talking with “volunteer Santa Clauses”.

Children were given pretty small gifts, and wrote their long-nurtured wishes like :”I wish I had a bicycle of my own to go to school”, “I wish my mother didn’t have to sell lottery tickets anymore”, “I wish my family wasn’t miserable”, etc. These little, innocent and simple wishes moved the volunteers. This Christmas was certainly full with happiness and meaningful for all of the children here because they had many VHV Santa Clauses. VHV will always be with disadvantage children and willing to help them with all their hearts.
