From June 2nd to 4th, 2015, Volunteer House Vietnam (VHV) Ha Noi organized the entrance assessment for Summer 2015 classes at Van Ho secondary school, Ba Trieu district.

There were 36 students, who were coming from Van Ho secondary school, having difficult living conditions. After the assessment, 25 students were evaluated as being suitable for the program.All students had to go through 2-part-assesment: listening and speaking. Students admitted to this year summer program are those who with limited listening and speaking skills due to lack of vocabularies, confidence and fluency in verbalization their ideas….

To ensure the quality of evaluation and to identify the students in need correctly, VHV Teaching Department had compiled and recapitulated exam questions very carefully and in detail.

After the enrollment day, admitted students were officially enrolled in summer classes, which began on June 8th, 2015. There are 2 classes in this year summer program:

– Tuesday class: Beginning level. Size of class: 10 students. Head teacher: Ms. Ngo Thuy Hoai.

– Thursday class: Intermediate level. Size of class: 15 students. Head teacher: Ms. Truong Thu Hoai.

To assure the quality of teaching and student improvement, VHV Teaching Department always assigns staff and volunteers to attend class sessions to observe, provide support and perform proper and flexible adjustment when required.

VHV is looking forward to successful VHV Summer 2015 classes and always love to help children improve their English skills, so that they can communicate more confidently in English.
